Photograph of a postcard of Church Street dated Sep 24th 1926 on the back. The house on the right (now called Fordes), at that time belonged to Mr Ford. The sign over the door advertises his business as a decorator and glazier. Also was registrar of births, deaths and marriages until at least 1932. (ROP/001/005/001)
The gravestone project was started in 2019 to photograph all the memorials in Ropley churchyard. A transcription survey was done in the 1980s and this has been published by the Hampshire Genealogical Society (HGS). The church also has a similar list created by an earlier vicar in the 1990s.
