The postcard shows the original three doors, the door on the right goes into the living quarters which was changed into the lounge bar, the middle door goes into the only bar, and the last door goes into the brewery ... This is the butchers/post office in 1905. The postcard that shows the shop with people standing further down the street, on one side and has writing on the back . It was sent on the 22 Dec. 1905 and has two date stamps, one from Ropley and another from Alresford. (ROP/004/01/026)
Two images of this postcard sent to a Miss D Brown in Brighton is dated April 1907 that shows Harding's store on the corner of Gilbert Street on the front and some writing on the back. It shows the shopkeeper standing by the door with children and a horse and cart. (ROP/004/01/027)
