Methodist Church - letter to Mr Ridley from C J Jarman, 9 Dec 1929
Folded letter dated 9th December 1929 sent from Stratheden, Davyhulme Road, Davyhulme, Nr Manchester. Handwritten in ink with a postscript in pencil. Text as follows:
Dear Mr Ridley
Naturally as I am so far away it would be wise to drop my name from the new trusts so please do so.
Obviously there will be many changes since I left the Winchester Circuit but if Mr Sturgess, Mr G Wills and Mr & Mrs W G Maidment are with you still remember me very kindly to them. I cherish memories of their very warm and appreciative words. It may be that others at Easton, Ropley and Alresford remember me, if so the same good wishes to them.
All good wishes to yourself
Sincerely yours
C J Jarman
PS You might send me … of next quarter’s plans It would probably interest one. I enclose the necessary stamps to cover cost of postage. (Charles)
